Our Pastor

   I became a Christian at an early age and attended church regularly with my family. Once marrying my wife in 1999, we began attending Shining Light Baptist Church, where I worked in the bus ministry for 13 years and taught Sunday school.
  In 2019, I felt the Lord pressing upon my heart the call to preach. After much prayer and counsel, I surrendered to preach later that year and continued my role as a Sunday school teacher.
  During a time of much reflection. I felt the Lord calling me to pastor and open a church in the Hickory area. This is how Hickory Foundation Bible Church was born.
  I wanted to found a place built on God’s word alone and to create a culture that would grow His kingdom and grow a community of believers to carry out His will while reaching out to the Hickory community.
